How to Trace a Cell Phone Number
Two Ways to Trace Cell Numbers
You can
trace a cell number two different ways:
The former will give you only that information
(the trace cell phone number data info)
that is listed in public sources (ie. an online user profile or a
listed entry in a residential telephone book). The latter, however, will
grant you access to special databases able to provide you with all
sorts of information on the identity of the cell phone number’s
owner, even if that information is private and unlisted.
Where a Free Cellular Phone Trace
Fails
As per the North American Numbering Plan (NANP),
devised in a joint venture between Bell and AT&T, any phone number –
cell phone or land line – is composed of 10 digits which are divided
into 3 parts:
-
The area code (the first three digits).
-
The office code (the second three digits).
-
The line number (the last four digits).
